We all know that accidents happen on UK roads every day, but you might be surprised at just how frequent they are – and how many injuries are suffered as a result.
For instance, between 2012 and 2013 there was a total of 819,137 claims made for personal injury following a road traffic accident – which averages out at more than 1,000 every day! Speeding and inexperience are the main causes deaths on the road, with drink driving, general carelessness and lack of seat belt also contributing.
